Grindists take over Chi-Town as the newest location of GRINDSpaces branches out of NYC and opens in the Midwest.
The 3-day retreat is for our members to collaborate in person.
Our day 2 afternoon is our forum that is open to the public. This year will be a joint unconference event with GWA’s annual conference.
LExC will be leading the unconference portion of the GWA conference. This will kick-off the public forum section of our LExC Retreat, first just for GWA conference attendees, then followed by a discussion to anyone, finished with drinks and appetizers at a Happy Hour we’ll host across the street at the W Hotel’s own Whiskey Blue.
LEXC founding member, LiquidSpace will be at Social Media Week in Chicago – be sure to stop by and say hi!
Liz Elam, our president, and Benjamin Dyett, a board member, will be speakers at this annual coworking conference in Europe. Join us at the conference and meet an active LExC member in person – no hashtags, no usernames required!
CityLAB | Building-Less: Hybrid Nomads in the Workplace working panel session is the second of a three-part series of new interdisciplinary conversations on the future of knowledge-based work in downtown Los Angeles, led by cityLAB, UCLA and Gensler Los Angeles. The panel will engage key perspectives that will prompt new conversations about the evolving boundaries of building-scale innovations for increasingly un-tethered work—between academia and practice, design and speculation, and between flexibility and reuse. The panel will be hosted by Gensler Los Angeles and will feature prominent engineers, architects, developers, and academics, with an invited audience of engaging academics and practitioners from the Los Angeles area.
